powdrożeniowe nowego produktu zamiast badań
przedwdrożeniowych (studium realnego przypadku)
Studium
zaprezentuje aspekt badawczy wprowadzenia na rynek
produktu informatycznego oferowanego w formule ASP
z polskim systemem klasy MRPII/ERP wykorzystującym
bazę Oracle. System był stosowany w modelu grubego
klienta w środowisku
sprzętowo-systemowo-narzędziowym I –
w którym też był wytworzony i rozwijany,
natomiast dany produkt oferowano w środowisku
mieszanym z-I, w modelu początkowo trójwarstwowym
cienkiego klienta przeglądarkowego, a następnie w modelu
dwuwarstwowym terminalowym. Przed wprowadzenie produktu
na rynek nie były przeprowadzone w środowisku z-I
badania przemysłowe produktu – uznano je za zbędne,
zamiast tego przyjęto za wystarczające oświadczenia
autora systemu i dostawcy bazy. Pierwsze wdrożenie
produkcyjne u dostawcy doprowadziło w krótkim
czasie, bez dodatkowych badań, do zmiany modelu z
przeglądarkowego na terminalowy. Dwa pierwsze komercyjne
wdrożenia wykazały wady produktu – czasy reakcji
nie do przyjęcia przez zamawiających. Przeprowadzone
badania powdrożeniowe ujawniły przyczynę wady,
i pozwoliło ulepszyć produkt przez zmianę platformy
z-I na I.
Post-implementation
instead
of pre-implementation research of new IT product
(the study of real case)
Study
will present research aspect of releasing on market
computer product offered as ASP with polish MRPII/ERP
class system using the relational database. The system
was applied in thick client model in the environment I,
in which system was produced and developed, however
given product was offered in the z-I mixt up
environment, at first time in three-tier thin browser
client model, and then in the two-tier terminal model.
Ahead of the launching weren't industrial research
carried out in the z-I environment of the product,
because they were recognized unnecessary, instead the
system author and the database supplier declarations
were accepted. The first production implementation at
the supplier shortly and without extra examinations led
to change the product model from browser to terminal.
Next two commercial implementations show faults in the
product – the response times was unacceptable to
customers. Post-implementation examinations carried out
revealed the cause of the fault, and let improve the
product through change the z-I platform to I.
