CMDR COE - venue, location, how to reach

CMDR COE Location. Located in central Sofia near Shipka Hotel, the Centre’s premises are easily accessible via various types of public transport. In close proximity to the Centre there is a bus stop (Bus 604) and a subway station (Medical University - Line M3). Current address: 34A, Totleben Boulevard, Sofia 1606, Bulgaria

How to reach. Depending on traffic, it would take around 30 min. by car to reach CMDR COE from Sofia Airport. Should participants decide to take a taxi, they should bear in mind that the average taxi fare between Sofia Airport and the Centre would be around 15 Euros. The use only of licensed taxi companies is highly recommended.

CMDR COE Venue. In order to provide the most suitable setting for its hosted events, the Centre’s facility is divided into several functional areas. The administrative area on the ground floor offers two event spaces for conferences, seminars and workshops. The spacious conference hall (Brussels Hall) accommodates up to 100 people, providing flexibility on its capacity, and the Visitor’s room (Sofia Hall) offers seating for 20 people. Both are fully air-conditioned, have a built-in high-quality audiovisual equipment and high-speed Wi-Fi network. The security area on the first floor includes a meeting room (Warsaw Hall) with built-in AV equipment and a capacity for 30 people, which results ideal for working with unclassified information and conducting a wide variety of events. Furthermore, the Centre’s video-and-teleconference hall (VTC) is equipped with a conference table for 10 attendees, interactive and standard whiteboards and additional AV equipment. Additionally, the conference hall on the second floor (Athens Hall) is also designed for working with unclassified information and accommodates up to 30 people.
