International Conference on Principles of Information Technology and Applications (PITA'09)

Mr?gowo, Poland, October 12-14, 2009

International Conference on Principles of Information Technology and Applications (PITA '09) will be organized within the framework of the International Multiconference on Computer Science and Information Technology IMCSIT'09. PITA'09 is a forum for researchers and practitioners to exchange theories, ideas, techniques and experiences related to all areas of computer science or information technology, which are not covered by other Events of the IMCSIT'09.

The PITA'09 conference welcomes submissions of research papers on all aspects of information systems. Submissions may report original research results, outline new viewpoints and challenges, or describe the deployment of a novel technology. PITA'09 invites original previously unpublished contributions that are not submitted concurrently to a journal or another conference.

We are interested in papers concerning theory and applications as well as case studies of successful transfer of technology from academia to industry. Of particular interest are papers that combine multiple disciplines of computer science to develop new technologies for information systems.

TOPICS include but are not limited to:

  • Formal methods
  • Foundations of computer science
  • IT applications
  • IT Management
  • Methodologies, models and tools for software development
  • Model-driven engineering
